Set on Torehill in The Cairngorms National Park with stunning views down the valley and across the mountains, Braenedin holiday cottage offers the ideal opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle and get close to nature’s heart.
Situated in peaceful surroundings on the edge of the crofting township of Tulloch and backing onto the ancient Abernethy forest Braenedin is a truly unique property which has recently been refurbished to the highest standard in sympathy with its breathtaking location. Whether you are looking for a family self catering holiday or to spend some uninterrupted time with friends this is the perfect base for walkers, wildlife and birdwatchers, cyclists and skiers not to mention easy access to the many other activities offered around Aviemore and in the wider Strathspey area.
We think you’ll find this unique cottage with some of the best views in Spey Valley the ideal place to spend a peaceful and relaxing holiday.
We miss Braenedin. We miss the views, the mountains, the trees, the air, the comfiest bed I know, the chilled-ness that comes over the whole family when we are there. Edinburgh's a brilliant place to be during lockdown but I'm still yearning for some Braenedin.
The old sign on the cottage garden wall says Brainedin. Our new signs and our website say Braenedin and looking back through the archives and old maps we found the group of cottages which used to be at the site called Braenudin.
