Prices are per week and are inclusive of all linen, towels, heat and electricity and one basket of logs for the woodburning stove. We're trying an honesty box for £2.50 per subsequent basketful of wood. There should be no other extras for you to deal with. Short breaks are available.
Deposit and Payment
There is a £300 non-refundable deposit payable on booking, the balance being due 8 weeks prior to arrival. Payments by bank transfer or cheque. A £200 security deposit will also be asked for 8 weeks prior to arrival.
In case of a last minute cancellation, we recommend that guests take out their own travel insurance.
However we will always try to re-let so that some refund can be made where possible.
Arrival /Departure Policy
The house is available from 4pm on Fridays and we ask that it is vacated by 10am on the day of departure to allow for housekeeping turnaround. If this doesn’t suit you please contact us and we will see if other arrangements can be made to suit your requirements.
It was great to have some returning guests from May, when the guidelines changed, as well as visitors who had shifted their holidays from last year.

We love reading these for loads of reasons; they give us a warm glow, to check what wildlife has been spotted and getting new ideas for walks or activities to try.
The Scottish Government stated that the guidelines on self-catering will change from Friday 25 September 2020. There is now a one household restriction in self-catering properties, in-line with the restrictions in private homes in Scotland.
